Advice that we offer to all of our patients in their efforts to combat oral problems in the future include some of the following steps:

 Use a soft toothbrush with rounded bristles or a good quality electric toothbrush

Replace your toothbrush every three to four months or after illness

• Brush twice daily with a fluoride toothpaste
• Floss once daily
• Avoid tobacco products
• Avoid excessive alcohol use
